I have run Tawa Fitness Centre for 18+ years. My driving force has always been to improve the fitness and health of the community. The Taste Success nutritional programme aligns with this goal.

I have a Diploma in Exercise Science(with distinction), and have plenty of practical experience having been in the fitness industry for 25 years. I am passionate about healthy nutrition and fitness habits that support energy for life and maintaining a healthy weight.

I have a sports background from playing hockey and to this day still have a love of running. I was brought up on meat, veggies, home baking and fresh fruit, I had a great foundation for health and had never struggled with weight issues until I hit 50.

As my life got busy, in came the convenient/processed choices. Combining these with a sweet tooth plus a coffee fix every couple of hours, I ran myself into the ground with fatigue and my weight started to increase. I struggled to get my bum off the couch once I got home from work. Addressing my nutrition and other lifestyle habits has allowed me to regain my energy and maintain a healthy weight.
Today I help people to get their life on track with healthy habits in nutrition and fitness.
